Today, we journey into God's Word, exploring a profound and transformative theme: "Empowered by Christ." In a world filled with uncertainty and challenges, we, as believers, must understand and tap into the divine strength that Christ offers us.
Throughout Scripture, we see glimpses of this divine strength manifested in various ways—through His resurrection, His grace, His Spirit, His preservation, and His love. Today, we will begin to unpack the layers of Christ's power and discover how it can empower us daily.

The Power of His Resurrection
In Philippians 3:10, the apostle Paul expresses his profound longing to know Christ. He writes.
that I may know him and the power of his resurrection, and may share his sufferings, becoming like him in his death,

Before his conversion, Paul (formerly known as Saul) was a zealous persecutor of the early Christian church. However, his life was radically transformed when he encountered the risen Christ on the road to Damascus (Acts 9:1-9). We share the message of hope and salvation with those around us, knowing that the same power that transformed our lives can also transform theirs.
Christ's resurrection assures us of our own resurrection and eternal life with Him. This hope of future glory sustains us through the trials and tribulations of this life, reminding us that our present sufferings are temporary in light of the eternal glory that awaits us (Romans 8:18). With our eyes fixed on the hope of eternity, we can endure hardships with faith and perseverance.

Instead, let us yield every thought, every word, and every action to the lordship of Jesus Christ, trusting that His power is made perfect in our weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). As we surrender to Him, we will experience the abundant life and freedom that He promises to those who walk in obedience to His Word.
