Living Way gathers Sundays at 11:00 a.m. in a private home in the Carlisle area. You do not need to know the routine, prepare anything, or be ready to participate. You are welcome simply to come, listen, observe, and get to know us.

Because we meet in a home, we ask first-time guests to contact us before coming. It gives us a chance to welcome you personally and make sure you have everything you need.

What Sunday is actually like
A living room, not an auditorium.
There is a normal rhythm to Sunday, but people are more important than keeping a schedule. If someone needs prayer, encouragement, care, or simply time to be heard, we make room for that.
Arrive and settle in
We usually begin seated together in the living room with informal fellowship and conversation.
Prayer and worship
The more structured part of the gathering opens in prayer, followed by usually four songs sung together.
Scripture and preaching
We turn to the Bible for expository preaching. The sermon is not normally a group discussion, but respectful questions or interruptions are welcome when something is unclear.
Closing prayer
We close the formal gathering in prayer rather than rushing into another programmed activity.
Stay for fellowship
People usually remain afterward to talk and spend time together. You are welcome to stay, and you are equally free to leave when you need to.
One thing worth knowing
If someone genuinely needs care or prayer, we may spend the time there and leave the sermon for the following week. That is unusual, but it reflects something important about Living Way: people matter more than completing an order of service.

Do I have to participate?
No. A guest is not expected to speak, pray aloud, read Scripture, answer questions, sing, or do anything publicly. You can simply be with us.
What about children?
We do not currently have children regularly attending, so there is no separate children’s program or nursery. Families and children are welcome; please contact us beforehand so we can talk through what would help your family.
Communion and dress
We aim to celebrate the Lord’s Supper on the first Sunday of each month, although the schedule occasionally varies. Wear whatever makes you comfortable.
Parking and accessibility
There is plenty of parking. The driveway is long and uphill, so able walkers use the grass along the driveway when practical, leaving the flatter area near the house for older guests and anyone who has difficulty with the hill. There are a couple of steps at the house, and we are glad to assist.
Meet Scarlett
Scarlett is our medium-sized dog. She can be cautious when first meeting someone, then becomes very affectionate once she warms up. If you are uncomfortable around dogs, tell us beforehand and we will plan accordingly.
Can I hear the preaching first?
Absolutely. The sermon library is public and includes manuscripts, Scripture browsing, series, topics, and recordings when available.
